Creating a notice

Notices can be a useful way of communicating messages that need to get to a wide range of people within the school. They can be set up to be viewed by the whole school, or any of the individual classes that you teach.

Notices can be created to be shared with the entire school or selected classes that you teach.

1. To add a notice, click on the Notices option in the sidebar.

2. Then click on the New Notice button in the far-right top corner of the page:

To control to whom and for when your notice will be visible you have two options:

1. Select who you would like to share your notice with (Whole school or selected classes).

2. Select when you would like notice to appear on user dashboards (Hint: this function is useful if you are planning reminders for future events).

The content of the notice can be a simple text message or it can also have a document such as newsletters or permission slips attached.

When you are finished click Done and the notice will be scheduled for displayed.
