How to personalise your class

There are two small adjustments you can make to a class to help personalise it for your students.

A class image can help brighten up the class page. You and your students see the class image in the My Classes page and in full on the class summary page.

The second change you can make is to the class short name or the code that you see next to the subjec of each class. You can change this code at any time to make it more meaningful to you and your students. For example: you might change your short name for 5th year English to ‘5th EngA’ so that you can easily tell it apart from your other 5th year English class which you might label '5th EngB'. This is a free text box so you can make the short code anything that holds meaning to you and your students.

To add a class image or change the short name of your class follow the instructions below:​

1. Go the the My Classes page.

2. Click on the class you wish to personalise.

3. Click on the Pencil button in the far-right hand corner to edit the class.

4. Select mage to add a class image and edit the class short name.

5. Click the Done button to save the chamges.
